A match is an object which is created to be discarded, so it stands at the threshold of life and death.
In my Match project I explored the variety of the metaphorical meanings of this everyday object which carries the idea of ephemerality, short-term existence, the crucial point in decision making and the inevitable consequences of people's actions.
